Pheasants Forever & NEI Fly Fishing

First time fly fishers came in from Ames, IA for an evening fish.  Water was starting to clear up and the evening hatch was in full swing.  Thanks to these two for supporting the Polk County Pheasants Forever by winning a trip with us at their yearly auction.  This was a good time!!  Thanks Paul and Tyler!

First Day of Summer Vacation...

How would you spend your first day of summer vacation? Mason came back to NEI Fly Fishing with his Dad (Mike) and had a great day filled with brown trout.  With all the rain we had been getting the water level was up and a little dirty but fish and smiles make all things better.

This father/daughter relationship was great to be apart of.  Grace is an all around talented girl and "Wow" can she cast some line! Felt bad for those Nebraska smallies!  We had good luck with the dry/dropper set up.  Your looking at the next April Vokey......

From Brazil....Learn In Iowa....Go To Alaska

This great family from Brazil has Alaska fly fishing in their summer plans.  They spent the morning learning the basics before heading north.  It was a cold and rainy morning but the smiles and fish helped with that.
